Worship first

In Dan Kimball's "The Emerging Church," the author notes that by using the phrase "worship service" we are effectively teaching that "'services' -- music, preaching, etc. -- are offered to people who attend. Even our 'order of service' can feel more like here's what we have for the the people, like a menu, than here's what the people bring to God.'"

What did we bring to God in "The Meadow" this past Sunday morning? Did we bring a time of authentic worship of the One who is to be revered?

Let's spend this week preparing our hearts daily as we move toward the Sunday morning gathering of His people, the sheep of His Meadow.
