School of Hope: A Place of Faith, Hope, and Love ...

You may have heard about "School of Hope: A Place of Faith, Hope, and Love." It's a vision of God's people in The Meadow to provide academic and life-skills training to young girls whose education and lives have been disrupted by pregnancy. If you are interested in being a part of this mission of God's love, or know of a young girl who would benefit from the school, e-mail Linda Daugherty. Classes could start as soon as this winter!

The Meadow is located in the foothills of Great Smoky Mountains.

If you would like to know more about Green Meadow United Methodist Church, contact us!

Sunday Morning Gatherings: Small groups, 9:30 a.m.; Worship, 10:30 a.m.

Sunday Evening Gatherings: Youth snack supper, 6 p.m., with fellowship to follow.

Worship at Green Meadow UMC is a blend of contemporary and tradition, though not fraught with traditionalism. We honor what the Holy Spirit has done in the past, is doing in the present, while looking to the future.

Weekly Gatherings In The Meadow

Sunday Morning

Small groups meet at 9:30 a.m. The groups include a traditional adult Sunday School, a contemporary studies group, youth and children's class as needed.

Worship begins at 10:30 a.m.

Worship, the dress for which is casual, is open to all age groups, but a nursery is provided on an as-needed basis. We celebrate Holy Communion as an "open table," which means you do not have to be a member of Green Meadow or even a United Methodist to celebrate the Lord's Supper.

Sunday Evening

Youth Fellowship meets at 6 p.m.

"The Mackerels,” our youth group, gathers for food and fellowship from 6-8 p.m.
